The Google module allows you to synchronize the Blue interface with your Google™ Calendars and set up email accounts, aliases and email lists. This module synchronizes Google Calendars with the Events Module, allowing you to import Google events to the Events Module or vice versa, saving you time by consolidating events data across platforms.
The Google module also features Geocoding, which allows site visitors to enter their address and see select businesses within a certain distance from them.
This module gives administrators control over who receives email accounts and allows you to manage these accounts, and create email lists and aliases (for example, you can set up an alias called firstname.lastname@example.org, and email sent to this address will be forwarded to an employee's email).
This module is also useful for companies that use Google for their events management, as it synchronizes with Google Calendars, meaning you can import events from Google Calendars to the Events module, or export from Events to Google Calendars.
Organizations such as chambers of commerce can benefit from the Geocoding feature, allows site visitors to enter their address and select a type of business and a distance from their own location, and see a list of businesses that match the search query. For example, a chamber of commerce could allow visitors to select a type of business and a distance, and see a list of businesses within that range.
